Refund policy

Introduction
This document outlines the rules, guidelines, and procedures governing the return, refund, exchange, cancellation, shipping, handling, inspection, eligibility, and other post-purchase matters for items purchased through Clawbud (“Clawbud,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), whether purchased via online store, mobile application, third-party marketplace, authorized distributor, promotional event, or other sales channels (collectively, the “Services”).
By placing an order, you (“you” or “purchaser”) agree to comply with the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Return Period
Items are eligible for return within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day you receive your item(s). The period includes weekends, national and local holidays, and any potential shipping delays. Returns requested after this period may be denied.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a return:
- Condition of Items – Items must be in their original, unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered condition.
- Packaging Requirements – Items must be returned in their original packaging, including all boxes, inserts, manuals, labels, instructions, stickers, and protective materials.
- Tags and Labels – All tags, stickers, and identifiers must remain attached and intact.
- Proof of Purchase – Must include invoice, receipt, order confirmation, or other verifiable documentation.
- Partial Returns – For multi-item orders, each item must individually meet eligibility requirements.
3. Damages, Defects, and Inspection
- Inspect all items immediately upon receipt.
- Document any defects, damages, or incorrect items using photos, videos, or written description.
- Notify Clawbud promptly to address defects, damages, or errors. Delayed reporting may affect eligibility for return or refund.
4. Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Perishable goods (food, plants, flowers)
- Custom, personalized, or bespoke items
- Personal care, beauty, or hygiene products
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases
- Sale items and gift cards
5. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off
For customers in the EU, you may cancel or return an order within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt for any reason without providing justification. Items must meet the standard eligibility criteria outlined above.
6. Refunds
- Refunds are issued after receipt and inspection of returned items.
- Processing may take up to 10 business days.
- Additional delays may occur due to banks or payment processors.
- If a refund is not received within 15 business days of approval, contact Clawbud for assistance.
7. Exchanges
Exchanges are not directly facilitated. To exchange an item, return it for a refund and place a new order for the desired product.
8. Shipping and Handling
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise specified.
- Clawbud is not liable for items lost, delayed, or damaged during return shipping unless explicitly authorized.
- Customers are encouraged to use tracking and insurance when shipping returns.
9. Lost or Misdelivered Packages
Clawbud is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or misdelivered after shipment. Customers should provide accurate delivery information and monitor tracking updates.
10. Conditions of Use
- Items purchased through Clawbud are intended for lawful, personal use only.
- Unauthorized resale, distribution, or manipulation of returns may void eligibility.
- Clawbud may refuse returns or refunds in cases of suspected fraud or misuse.
11. Additional Policies
- Multiple Item Orders: Each item must individually meet eligibility criteria for returns or refunds.
- Documentation Retention: Customers are advised to retain all purchase-related communications for at least 14 days after delivery.
- Legal Disclaimers: Nothing in this policy waives statutory rights under applicable US law.
